[1] ----- VOTE on the new constitution! -----"Vote on the New Will Rice Constitution!"
====
The proposed new Will Rice Constitution, which has been a work in progress for the past couple years, is up for a vote by college members. A 2/3 vote of approval is needed to ratify the new constitution.
Both the old and new versions of the constitution are available for comparison online -- http://willrice.org -- along with a summary of the major changes. Also, paper copies are posted in the college commons. We highly encourage all of Will Rice to review the summary of changes comparing the new and old constitutions before making an informed decision.
The election poll will be open until Wednesday, April 29. Your ballot link should be in your Rice email. If you have any questions or problems, please contact the election chairs (Evi and Justin): elections@willrice.org
Please Vote on the New Will Rice Constitution!

[7] ----- Rec Center baskets -----To All Recreation Center Patrons,
If you currently have a basket registered in your name at the Recreation Center, please kindly remove your personal items and lock if you are NOT going to be on campus beyond MAY 8, 2009. The Recreation Center will be CLOSED Saturday, May 9 and Sunday, May 10 for graduation and will not be accessible, so please plan ahead.
However, if you are planning to stick out another HOT summer here in Houston, you will have until JULY 31, 2009 to remove all personal items and locks. There is no place for us to store any personal items left behind prior to annual maintenance. All locks left behind will be cut and items discarded. Upon returning to campus in the fall, you will be able to reclaim the same basket. To assure your personals remain YOUR personals, your lock remains yours, please allow ample tine to empty your basket.
Thanks,

[10] ----- Clean Computers -----Rice Students,
Keep your computers clean this summer!
If you use PC-Cillin for antivirus protection (provided by IT at no cost to you), you probably need to get a new serial number to keep your
software license from expiring in June.
Login to the IT Self-Service page: https://my.rice.edu/ITSelfService/
and select the link for PC-Cillin Serial Number.
This link generates an automatic email from the Help Desk with your new
serial numbers for PC-Cillin 2007 and PC-Cillin 2008.
Want to test PC-Cillin 2009?
We need more input on the latest version of PC-Cillin. Instructions for downloading the software will be included in the email message with your 2007/2008 serial numbers.

[12] ----- Lost ID holder -----I misplaced my ID holder earlier this semester and it contained my Texas ID, Student ID, insurance card and credit card among other things. Someone returned my student ID that was in the ID holder to me yesterday, they said that they found it lying around in another persons room. So someone must have the rest of the stuff that was in the ID holder.
I dont care who it is I just want them to give it back to me, especially since my name is all over everything and they know that it is mine.
I would really appreciate the return of my stuff, especially my Texas ID.
Thank you,
Shakera Reece
[13] ----- looking for summer housing -----Jane Li and I are looking to stay local in Houston this summer but need an apartment OC. If you could send out an email to the server asking if anyone who has a year round lease would like to sublet their apartment/house for the summer and for them to contact us with details that would be great! We are willing to consider anything up to $600 a month per person and we are looking for a place from mid may until the start of school.
Thank you very much!
